Inspection: Aharon Chen, President and Founder of ACA Painting & Construction, LLC personally inspects each project before work begins. A written estimate is given to ensure the exact cost coverage of the project.

Preparation: All balconies and metal railings are cleaned and scrubbed. Metal surfaces are painted with a special galvanized oil based primer to control rust. Guard railings, hand railings and balconies are painted with a complementary or matching color.

Waterblasting: Before the first paint brush is lifted, all surfaces are inspected for old paint and damaged wood. When working with wood, metal, or stucco, all surface areas must be clear of old paint, dirt, and dust.

This is removed by a process called "waterblasting". A high-powered wash strips the old paint and debris off, all the way down to the original surface. The best care is taken to minimize damage when waterblasting.

Sanding: After the waterblasting, we begin "sanding & scraping". This removes the extra-stubborn paint that was not removed by the waterblasting. Proper sanding of a surface is important to obtain the necessary smooth surface for paint bonding on repaint projects.

Caulking: Exterior Caulking is important for weatherized seals around doors and windows. All trim, window sashes and door frames are caulked and puttied.

Primer: Once the new or repaint surfaces are properly prepared, they are ready for "priming". Priming the surface helps the paint to adhere. We use and oil-based primer because it penetrates deep into the wood surface, providing longer protection and paint durability.

Painting: We use the "spray painting" method to ensure complete, even coverage. All surfaces not to be painted are covered and taped and special attention is given to landscaping to avoid overspray damage.

Two coats of paint are applied. The first by spray, the second by hand rolling. Hand rolling the paint is important for a uniform texture, and the second coat helps weatherize the surface improves color retention.

Clean-up: All painting debris will be removed at the end of each working day.

Final Inspection: At the completion of the project, a final inspection is performed by Aharon Chen personally. If the work for any reason, even the smallest detail, is not to the customer's satisfaction, it will be corrected on the spot. INTERIOR PAINTING

Interior painting is a specialty at ACA Painting & Construction. We provide the best in interior designs available today. We offer Tape, Bed and Texture for a smooth and even surface. All units are complete with caulk and putty around windows, door frames, baseboards, closets, etc. All trim requires one coat of primer, then it is hand sanded to ensure a smooth finish. Then two coats of Latex Enamel are applied to the trim and also to the kitchen and bathroom walls. All shelves and racks are hand painted to ensure a smooth and even finish.

COMMERCIAL PAINTING

AC Painting & Construction specializes in Commercial Property interiors and exteriors. All custom and design work for tenant finish out. We apply Zolatone and Flexton as per architectural specifications.
